Labor & Education:
In a healthy economy I can't find capable people who are willing to fill these manufacturing positions.

Today we have extremely high Unemployment and to create jobs is a high priority. If the jobs created are manufacturing jobs will there be sufficient human resource to keep those position filled? We need manufacturing. Manufacturing is part of a healthy base for our economy. Without manufacturing, we as an economy are simply a group of consumers who try to make a living by making a markup. But yet we don’t make anything. The Gap between the lower middle-income earner and the upper middle-income earner is growing. And the Lower middle income is sliding into the poverty level. Not all high school grads are destined for college or tech schools, many are not, many don’t graduate. What happens to these career less people? Other than fast food franchises and retail stores where else can they get jobs. Where can they get jobs that have benefits and even if the job offered benefits could the employee afford to take advantage of them? Many large cities like Baltimore have significant concerns with: crimes murders, drug, etc. The children attending these schools end up being a product of their environment. In these same areas we, (the taxpayers) are already providing, before-school daycare, after school day care and free breakfast and free lunch and for all this we are still losing these kids to their environment. Today we have extremely high unemployment and to create jobs is a high priority. If the jobs created are manufacturing jobs will there be sufficient human resource to keep those position filled? About our Inner city children: I think we need to do better by them. They are already in our care, however we are not providing them with a foundation that the can grow on. We need to restructure their day and our objective. We need to make a difference. If we failed to make this difference we may find our selves paying police to arrest them, we may find ourselves paying for their re-hab or maybe we will house some of the for the rest of their lives in our prisons. By providing this foundation, I expect crime rate will drop substantially and we will end with a product member of our workforce.
